26 Aug Immediate Opening For Intern Position at Pennsylvania Riding Academy with Paul Belasik and Rose Caslar Belasik
Paul writes:
I am looking for an intern candidate who will make me feel good about the future of dressage. I had and have the privilege of working with some of the most exceptional riders; Olympians, National Champions, and para riders, but I have also spent a great deal of time working with more freshman riders and trainers, knowing it is from these ranks that the future experts will come.
Our internship is meant to push your riding and horsemanship a quantum leap forward. All in a congenial atmosphere on a beautiful farm, without drama (which means please don’t bring any.) In return for you helping us to run our stable, we will provide you with a spacious private apartment, board for your horse, individualized daily attention, plus a private lesson with me each week. You will receive a monthly stipend and access to our extensive library of books and rare videos.
The position entails typical barn chores and horse care from 7-6 each day with a half hour lunch break. Night check 3 days per week. 1.5 days off per week, some flexibility required during show season.
No pets, no smoking. Must be 18 years old. Full year position – inquire about flexibility in time frames.
For the right candidate, opportunity for growth into assistant trainer/barn manager position.
